September 11, 2020—Iranian Resistance Units, the internal network of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), organized various anti-regime activities across the country that called for an end to the theocratic regime ruling Iran, and they echoed Iranian people’s yearning for freedom, democracy, and people’s sovereignty. The members of the Resistance Units held up signs and took to graffiti with the slogans of the Iranian Resistance Leader Massoud Rajavi and the NCRI’s President-elect Maryam Rajavi. They campaigned to free the political prisoner Navid Afkari who is on death row.
