Too many families are crossing options off the list before they even explore them. In states like Connecticut, very few players are choosing the junior college (JUCO) route — and that’s not because it isn’t valuable. Sometimes it’s because we’ve decided it’s “not good enough.” Here’s the truth for youth and high school players: ⚾ JUCO = College credits + real college competition + grit + development⚾ Post-grad = Another year to develop (sometimes great, but often expensive) ⚾ D3 or smaller offer = Still college baseball (only about 8% of players get that opportunity) There is no such thing as a “good enough” chance. If you’re playing college baseball — that is the chance. You can: ✔ Take your credits ✔ Compete at the next level ✔ Transfer if it’s not the right fit ✔ Keep doors open through the portal But you can’t develop if you never take the leap. Parents — ask: What’s best for our family financially and developmentally?Players — ask: Do I want a chance, or am I waiting for perfect? The path might not look how you imagined — but it could change your life. 🎧 Full episode of the Tower Sports Advising Podcast out now. #YouthBaseball #CollegeBaseball #JUCOBaseball #RecruitingJourney #TowerSportsAdvising
