The patient presented with signs of gastrointestinal stasis and was unresponsive to IV fluids and medical management. A full diagnostic workup was performed, including: Abdominal radiographs and Ultrasound examination. Findings suggested a localized obstruction with lack of peristalsis in the distal small intestine.
