When holidaying in Zanzibar, the dolphin tour and reef snorkeling at Mnemba Island is a good choice. From the transfer point at Muyuni Beach we went on a dolphin safari with a small boat, where we had the opportunity to snorkel and watch the animals underwater up close. We were very lucky that day to see a lot of dolphins swimming around between the boats. We were able to watch them right next to us, a great experience. We then lead to the reef of Mnemba Island, which itself belongs to Bill Gates and cannot be entered. But at the nearby reef you can stop with small boats and enjoy snorkeling. Depending on the time of day, there are more or fewer boats there.
