On 23rd January, I returned to my ancestral village Bansi Bhardar in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand, to witness and participate in the sacred Devi Pujan of Raj Rajeshwari Mata and Kansh Mardini Mata. Just 500 meters from my home, the temple at Pittrodidhar stands as a timeless guardian of our pahadi heritage-its walls echoing with centuries of devotion, chants, and faith. This video is Episode 2 of my journey, where you will experience the divine moment when the God and Goddess Saul descend through “Pashwa.” Whether through a male or female, the deity takes complete control of the body, blessing devotees with dance, energy, and protection. This sacred embodiment is called Pashwa-a living reminder of how divinity flows directly into the lives of the people. For me, this journey was more than a ritual-it was a homecoming. Standing amidst the mighty Himalayas, I felt the profound blessing of being rooted in the soil of Uttarakhand, carrying forward traditions that remind us how fortunate we are to be pahadi and Indian. In this episode, you’ll see: The Devi Pujan rituals at Pittrodidhar temple The powerful moment of Pashwa, when the goddess blesses through dance The beauty of my ancestral village and the joy of reconnecting with roots Join me as I share glimpses of devotion, heritage, and heartfelt gratitude from the land of gods. 🙏 Uttarakhand #DeviPujan #Pashwa #RajRajeshwariMata #KanshMardiniMata #Rudraprayag #PahadiHeritage #IndianCulture #Episode2
