Constellation is a fast-paced strategy simulation that requires quick analysis, cooperative action, and the ability to change strategies in the face of shifting scoring variables. Constellation was the first simulation created by Synthesis in the Summer of 2020. The game confronts kids with complexity and asks them to work together to construct adaptive strategies. Kids deconstruct Constellation to its first principles, including: Game Theory (primarily Stag Hunt and Prisoner's Dilemma) Resource Scarcity Second-Order Thinking Students play against one another, complete collaborative challenges, and eventually design their own maps to play together.
