Hi , thanks for popping by and this video follows on with I/Jessie was/am doing at the the base she took immediately upon discovering it. There is a low level shroud prescence that will not let you build and namely the prison cells beneath it , I killed the Fell down there , tried to make usable space out of it but no go so decided to cap thart level off , the entrance down to the prison cells was in the big workshop type area where the Carpenter is and is now under a few layers of Stone ( I like to think of it as concrete lol). The base is huge and needed repairs to a lot of it but this base suffered less than Glennwoods End. I thought that because of the shroud I would not be able to utilise more space and as a real life builder I am not happy with buildings seemingly having no foundation / support. This is a personal thing and have seen many people do floating rooms etc , now a floating base from scratch I might try one day but Shorewatch you imagine it has stood over many years and is connected with the ground , as such you will see me use pillars and what you would call support beams to carry everything above , for me it was the usual practice in real life life and whilst Enshrouded does not feature Stability issue's , ie your place will fall down without support , I build it as if it was in a real world scenario. There are problem's Shroud related and you will see me navigate that the best I can in game to at least show that the extended base has foundation and let's face it , the desert City wall block is so cheap to craft only needing Sandstone and there is a LOT of that just outside the base so using blocks that you do not see all the time is in my opinion worth it. If anybody watching this wants to put a floating floor at the heights and levels I show , no problem , you do you and that's the beauty of Enshrouded , your imagination can take you where you like and for the most part this awesome game allows you to create it. I hope you find some inspiration , enjoy watching as things unfold and take care , Thank you.
