Don't Stop Me Now - NUS Guitar Ensemble Concert 2021/22

Welcome to our 2021/22 Semester 1 showcase, Don’t Stop Me Now. Join us as we embark on our musical journey together! Don’t Stop Me Now features a wide range of genres in our repertoire from classics such as Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy to Studio Ghibli soundtracks such as Merry-Go-Round of Life. The repertoire acts as a testament to show that despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic, with perseverance, we can still have a shared musical journey. About us 🎸 NUS Guitar Ensemble (GENUS) is a student-run guitar ensemble located in the National University of Singapore, and a member of NUS Centre For the Arts. With a nearly 40-year-long history, the group boasts a wide repertoire ranging from major classical works to Japanese anime themes. In accordance with the Niibori method, GENUS utilises a set of guitars with varying pitches to produce an orchestral effect.
