Here is another, longer live performance of mine using the SimpleConway VST. I have two grids controlling two FL plugins via FL Studio VSTi. This is a workaround since I haven't figured out how to send Midi to the plugins directly. In this video, I play around with more features I added; changing the frequency of conway updates and modifying note velocities. The two instruments I used are Arksun Cityscape-Light Drops and Essential Pianos-Rhodes MK1 (both are FLEX presets). I added some reverb, drum loops and a delay FX to make things more interesting, but my setup is pretty janky. I'm looking for an actual performance mode setup, but I spent too much time on this to not record it. SimpleConway is built in HISE which is built with JUCE and compiled with Visual Studio 2022. The VST is hosted by FL Studio and recorded with OBS. Ask if you want access to the VST or stand alone version.
