FAIRVIEW, Okla. (KOKH) — The Major County Sheriff's Office confirms a mother and her daughter were killed in a tornado late Thursday night. The pair was found dead inside a car. The family of the victims said the mother, Jodie Owens, was in her van on the phone with her kids, telling them to take cover when the tornado struck her van.
