Unlimited Verizon MiFi Home Router T1114

Verizon MiFi Home Router T1114 For people who have expensive broadband options in their area, cutting the wire seems to be the best way to go, especially since Verizon brought back Unlimited Data (Truly Unlimited, I’ve used hundreds of GB’s.) I’m going to show you some tips I found along the way. First, you need the Verizon T1114 Router, you can purchase it on Amazon, eBay, Facebook, Craigslist, etc. They run about $50 or less, without a contract, versus $199.99 at Verizon straight out, or $49.99 with a two year contract. Just make sure the IMEI number is clean with Verizon. Meaning the device wasn’t reported lost or stolen. Make sure it comes with the power cord, and the backup battery, without the backup battery the device will not work. Second, from what I’ve came to figure out, nobody at the Verizon stores really knows much about these awesome devices. So head to your local hardware store, and find a T6 Star Driver Bit. I found a set at Lowe’s pretty cheap. You need to remove the 6 screws on the bottom, under the battery door. This allows the housing to pop off, so you, or a rep at the store can replace the SIM card, without you waiting forever for them to figure it out. http://verizonbrv/ Is the link you’ll use to setup your router. If you’re like me, and want to use more than 10 devices, or have your own router (I have an AirportExpress, for AirPlay to the AppleTV) you’ll need to turn the wifi off on the router, by signing in to http://verizonbrv/ and next to Wi-Fi select Off, so there’s no interference with your router. Then connect your router to the back of the T1114 using a standard Ethernet cable.
