Spending 48 hours on a train going home! New York City to Austin, TX!

A life goal of mine has been to travel a long distance on a train, in one of the rooms that have a bed in it! 10/10 mental health trip! Can't wait for the next one on the West Coast, or in Europe. I challenged myself to stay off my phone, and reconnect with myself. I had a lot of time to think, listen to music, and enjoy the views through the country. I learned a lot, and would highly recommend this type of travel for anyone who could use a weekend away to be with yourself. I was on Amtrak for these routes, and the first leg of the trip to Chicago was in what they call a "Roomette", and from Chicago to Austin was in a "Private Room". Flying is definitely quicker and cheaper than this, but this experience was like a hotel on wheels or a vacation in itself. Let me know where to head next! Follow my other social media channels!
