Mid shot of car with rebel soldiers driving away STORYLINE: One of the Haitian rebel commanders said on Thursday that he is ready to attack the capital "very soon" and confirmed the presence of his troops outside the Haitian capital. Guy Phillipe didn''''''''t give a date for the attack but said it could occur very, very soon. He said that he expected pockets of resistance and urged president Jean Bertrand Aristide to resign and avoid confrontation. "We plan to go to Port Au Prince and arrest Mr Aristide. This is our plan. The rebel commander went out on patrol in the streets of the rebel controled city of Cap Haitien in northern Haiti. Meanwhile, foreigners and Haitians continued to flee the city Thursday. But many of the dozens of barricades set up on Wednesday, and where people were robbed, were unmanned on Thursday.
