One way to connect your TV to your Soundbar is by using an optical cable. The optical cable is a Digital Toslink cable. The first mistake that most people who didn't use optical cable before make is that they don't realize to remove the plastic cover or plastic cap and that they try to insert it with the cap on. Once you remove the plastic cap, it a fairly easy process to insert the cable. Bear in mind that the cable can be only inserted from one direction, so you should try to force the cable in.
