Dori Raccoon - Part 53 | Winter's Last Delight

Dori was a delightful old raccoon who we always cherished whenever she visited. She showed up nearly every evening and slept over many nights during the bitterly cold winter season. We've not seen her since 1 March 2021. We'd like to believe she may possibly be living in the adjacent woodlands. However, we're also being realistic that she may have crossed over to reign as queen of the raccoon kingdom above. During this past year throughout the pandemic she blossomed into a gentle sweet old soul. What a lovely connection to have shared with this amazing raccoon who we rescued in spring 2017. We have a couple more videos to edit of Dori taken during February that will be shared in the coming weeks so we can all remember this special raccoon. NOTE: Our rescue raccoons resides in a region where there hasn't been a case of raccoon rabies for over three decades which is tracked by the local public health department. We are fortunate to be able to observe and professional work with a variety of wildlife species since we reside next to a protected wildlife preserve. Our rescue raccoons lounge and play on our terrace as well as use it as a thoroughfare. No children nor pets are ever harmed, especially the wild animals captured in these videos.
