The mini experiment that we are conducting consist of taking the organic wastes from other groups and then cutting them into small pieces, this is done first so that when we’re heating it, the organic waste we use will have more surface area to absorb the heat. So after cutting them into smaller pieces we then spread them in an oven pan so that the heat will be distributed evenly throughout the pan, and just then we can finally heat up our organic materials with the oven. We leave these organic wastes in the oven for over 2 days to remove any excess water from within the waste. 2 days have passed, and we continue to smoothing these small pieces of dry organic waste into a much finer power using a blender, and after that we filter the fine powder from the blender with an 85 mesh filter. The result is a super fine powder that will then sealed inside of a 10 mL vile. The sample will be analyzed to find experimental kinetic data using thermogravimetric method. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) will show curves with temperature and weight variable in order to find the kinetic energy, then get the enthalpy, next result entropy and Gibbs energy.
