Happy Friday! In today's video I'm unboxing the new Scout from Spellbinders. It's a mini die cutting machine! I'll also be creating a few cards with some Out & About die sets that were released with this machine. I have some tips for breaking in your new machine. Click "more" to see the tips and links to the supplies I used to create these cards. Thanks for watching! Tips: 1. Use the 3D embossing folder that comes with you machine first. This will run through your machine easily, and the more embossed panels you make, the faster you will condition your machine for the cutting dies. 2. Tape everything down. This add a little bit of grip and allow the machine to pull the cutting plates through. 3. If the sandwich you create with your cutting dies won't go through, turn the plates around and run it through the opposite end. 4. If your plates won't go through the die, it helps to stagger them. This will allow the machine to get a better grip on the plates. 5. Keep playing and working with your machine. The more you use it, the better it will work.
