Buy it on Etsy: https://meltedelectronics.etsy.com The TRIPLEVISION is a glitch video mixer, a passive device (so it requires no external power or batteries) that allows you to mix different analog video sources in a glitchy manner. It works (in its own way) with both PAL and NTSC signals. It's my variation on dutch artist Karl Klomp's basic schematic for the dirty mixer, adding one extra input and other features. Every unit is hand-assembled on an original pcb design. It provides 3 video inputs, an rca input for audio reactivity, and a composite video out. You're able to mix the three video sources togheter with a distorted, glitchy, scrolling effect when in between. (this is due to the lack of genlock between the signals) The audio input distorts the image according to the amplitude and frequency of the signal, and has its own potentiometer for intensity. It also offers two temporary switches, one for the audio input and one for the third video input; when pressed you get respectively audio reactivity or a direct connection to the third input for just as long as the button is pressed. This can be useful in live performances or in contexts in which a rhytmic or intermittent feel to the effects may be desired. Works best with old school tvs (CRTs), if you want to use it with a projector or a modern television you will need a time base corrector (TBC), either stand alone or in a mixer (e.g. panasonic ave5, videonics mx1, sima sfx-9 etc.) A good TBC will still probably alter the effect with its own "flavor" but will avoid blue\black screens.
