Let's talk about the Feast of the Visitation! This feast day is near and dear to my heart, especially because of the whole "pregnant ladies helping pregnant ladies" angle! 🤰🤰😊😊 I really love the apostolate of bringing a meal to a family in need of one. I had never heard of such a thing until we moved to LA, I kinda sorta joined a Catholic homeschool group, had a baby, and moms I did not know all that well started showing up at my house with dinners. My mind was blown 🤯 and my heart grew two sizes that day 💗 (or those two weeks anyway) and ten years later, those moms are some of my closest friends. I've been a huge fan of the practice ever since. And it's not just for new babies, of course! Whether a family is facing illness, miscarriage, a death, or some other hardship or crisis, they still need to eat dinner. Practices like this can really bind friends and communities together, so I hope you're inspired to give it a try again or for the first time! And a big thank you to the good folks at Ignatius Press for sponsoring this video, stay tuned to the end for a book I like to give to Catholic toddlers in my life! The Catholic All May Booklet is available now as a printable pdf or a paperback on Amazon. It includes a script for a simple May Crowning, prayers and devotions for Our Lady of Fatima, the Mexican Martyrs, St. Rita, St. Joan, the Ascension, Pentecost, and Trinity Sunday, in addition to the Visitation! https://catholicallyear.com/product/m...
