Engine builder Keith Dorton of Automotive Specialists (www.AutomotiveSpecialists.com) put it together to set a new record in the 260-inch class at Bonneville with a target speed of over 235 miles per hour--in a '34 Ford! The engine ran to 9,800 on the dyno but Dorton says he likely will set the rev limiter to 9,500 for runs on the salt just to be safe.
