Walkthrough of my cozy little base for our Pal friends FAQ: 1. Coords for the base location: (227, -20). There is an enemy camp here; just clear out the camp, leave the area, come back in a minute, and it will be gone and you can build there. If you remove your palbox after placing it down the camp WILL respawn in the middle of your stuff. You just have to clear it, leave, come back again and you can put the box back down 2. People were also asking how Pals don't get stuck in our base. They actually do get stuck sometimes, and I have to manually rescue them by removing and re-adding them from the Palbox (easier than picking them up and throwing them IMO). The only ones that get stuck are the Jormuntides because they are massive. We have far more issues with Pals getting stuck at our old base and at our mining base, which don't have any buildings. 3. We don’t have any pathing issues because the Pals’ work spaces are exclusively outside, barring the smelters, which even then are only on the first floor. 4. Base circle doesn't get bigger with level. Our base just looks big because we built beyond the base radius. We set the world setting 'Structure deterioration rate' to 0 so things outside the radius will not despawn. Do note that Pals will not work on things outside of the radius, so I recommend putting only decorative things here/things that won't need to be interacted with by the Pals. 5. The building system is painful sometimes. I uploaded short videos on how I built my roofs and how we got the pathways flushed to the ground 6. We do not get any raids at this base. We are not sure why but some people think it's due to either altitude or the fact that there used to be an enemy camp here. We do however get raided at our old base whenever we go there.
