This Friday we will resume our teaching series in the gospel of Mark. This week's message will focus on two more miraculous healings by the Messiah. As Jesus travels to the borders of Galilee, word spreads of His coming to the region of Tyre (7:24-30). There He meets with a Gentile woman who pleads with Him to heal her demon-possessed daughter. Though she is a Gentile, and He was sent "only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel," Jesus would heal this woman's child because of her great "faith." The Lord would also heal a deaf-mute when His travels lead Him back to the region of Decapolis (7:31). Other News and Notes: Pre-Service Prayer Time – Every Friday evening, 6:45-7:25pm.
