Hello all! Welcome to a brand new Madden Playoff Sim series I'll be doing on this channel! I'll be simming past MLB Playoffs using NFL teams. Each MLB team has been assigned an NFL team which we'll get more into down below. As such, since I'm basing this series off the MLB Playoffs, only the NFL equivalent of the MLB teams that I've assigned will ever show up in these sims. Looking over from the 2015 to the 2025 MLB playoffs, I think every team appears at least once. Obviously, their NFL counterparts might not have been as good the year the MLB team made the Playoffs. To start us off, we'll be using Madden 16 to sim the 2015 MLB Playoffs, and we'll be going forward up to the present day (so Madden 17 will cover the 2016 MLB Playoffs, etc.). To match the MLB Divisions more closely, I've remade the NFL Divisions. Sorry if you're a fan of those teams. I will be treating this series as having a continuous timeline, so as we go forward with this series, I'll really only ever take into account prior postseason matchups. I won't really be referencing any prior existing NFL or MLB lore (except for where key players previously played, etc.). Consider it like a brand new thing. I'll be using whatever the Madden rosters give me, but if injuries happen, I'll start the next highest rated player the following game depending on what happens.
