In this tutorial video, Milo shows how to make fake severed zombie fingers using Ecoflex™ 00-35 silicone, poured into an Alja-Safe™ alginate mold. Milo makes an Alja-Safe™ alginate mold of his hand and then pours Ecoflex™ 00-35 into the mold after tinting it with Silc-Pig™ silicone pigments. He inserts inexpensive plastic bones into the fingers before the silicone cures. After the filgers cure, they are removed from the mold. He then applies more silicone, tinted blood-red, to the fingers for a blood effect. The prop fingers are allowed to cure fully before using in a Halloween display. #halloween #prop #fx Alja-Safe™ is easy to use and cures quickly.
