A wild cottontail rabbit was haystaching, carrying around mouthfuls of hay that looks like a rabbit mustache to build a nest. The bunny was building a nest like clockwork, spending about one minute each time to gather hay into her mouth before hopping back to lay the materials inside. Pregnant wild bunnies usually start building their nests one week before delivering babies. They would dig a hole about 15cm wide and collect hay and their own chest fur to line up nests for warmth.
