Wild Day at Rockford BMX – I Just Kept Pushing!

From gate failures to spider attacks—nothing went right at RockfordBMX, but I showed up and gave it what I had! This race day was full of unexpected challenges—but that’s part of the ride, right? From a gate malfunction in practice to last-minute mechanical issues, it wasn’t the smoothest day on the track. I even had to borrow a pedal for the Main Event and faced a few strange moments—including slipping in staging and a surprise spider guest at the gate! But despite all that, I focused on staying present, showing up, and enjoying the race. I didn’t have anything on the line—just the pure joy of riding and being part of the scene. Some days are about results, and others are about grit, growth, and having fun no matter what. I’ll be back stronger, but for now—I’m just thankful for another chance to line up.
