Accessible only by drone or boat, this fascinating island played an important role in Ireland’s maritime history and still captures our imagination because of its dramatic location, rugged scenery and noisy colony of gulls. 👍Checkout my Ireland playlist    • Ireland   This is a harbour light for the passage from St. John's Point to inner channel and past the rocks to the anchorage within Killybegs Harbour. The lighthouse and houses were designed by George Halpin and the tower was formed from granite and it was first operated in 1838 and cost £8,697.
