I decided to get a gastric sleeve. I've been dieting now for about twenty/thirty years I've tried everything; Slimming World, Weight Watchers, even bought tablets from the internet. I'd lose weight for a little bit, but then it always go back on and so I decided that I wanted to make an investment in me and get a gastric sleeve. So, I have booked in through Healthier Weight. I did a lot of research and I met a consultant from Healthier Weight who put me completely ease. He talked me through all my options. Talked me through gastric band, the sleeve, the bypass and I decided that the sleeve was the best one for me. I am a big over-eater I've got no signal there that tells me when I'm full, so that's why I decided to go for the sleeve because it would give me the restriction that I needed. I'm quite excited. My surgery is quite soon so I'm looking forward to that. I'm looking forward to losing weight and getting into smaller clothes and being more healthy. I've not got a goal weight in mind, I just want to be a bit slimmer than I am now. I want to be able to be more active and do things with my children and my partner that I can't do now without getting out of breath. I'm really looking forward to it, I'm excited. It's a positive change for me and it's what's right for me. I've thought long and hard about it, and I've done a hell of a lot of home work into it and I know exactly what I'm expecting and it's just going to be a massive positive change for me. So I'm really excited to get the gastric sleeve. So yeah, fingers crossed. I will keep you updated. Thanks.
