In this video, I will explore the most DISTURBING ARG I've seen in Roblox. This ARG follows the channel "Merlin1204", and it's kept me up since I watched it- honestly, it traumatized me. AND WHILE I'M HERE.. it's ventin' time. don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE making content- it's always been my dream and something I've been working towards for.. 4 years, now? and I REALLY thought I hit it with the "rating ___ roblox games" type beat, like all my hard work and editing knowledge FINALLY paid off. but after doing some experimentation with making similar videos (especially the last one- its deadass just the sequel video), I've come to realize that those videos did well because that general idea (woah bad roblox games are all throughout the platform.. so where are my GOOD roblox games???) was trending. it was a combination of skill + opportunity- and that opportunity is what a good chunk of my recent videos have benen lacking (cause the concept isnt trending anymore- its one of those things where the longer it goes on, the less effective it is). and chat- I'm not gonna lie. I was in a space where I was GENUINELY thinking of creating another channel to pivot towards the horror niche better- but.. InprankedRBLX. Inpranked. INP64. I left those channels behind BECAUSE of my concern regarding niche changes, and WHILE these niche changes absolutely worked.. the channels didn't go anywhere BECAUSE I STOPPED WORKING ON THEM. I stopped uploading videos instead of toughing it through! so if I wanna shift my niche (which, aside from general roblox, I still have NO IDEA what it is 😭😭), I gotta do it through this channel. I gotta pour my passion and time into a few couple of videos that have 0 guarantee of performing well- in other words, I gotta see what sticks. if I was a generic commentary channel with minimal editing, this shi would be LIGHT WORK- but I'm not. the youtube-algorithm brainstorming, the idea-crafting, the script-writing, the visual effects, the post-production sound; ALL OF THESE I have to take into account with each and every video, which is why the majority of my videos take upwards of a MONTH to get done. so right now, it feels like I'm working SO SO SO DAMN HARD to get each and every video out for what's likely going to be minimal reward- but, again. gotta tough it through, even when my motivation for this stuff is at an all time low. one of these WILL stick, and I'm gonna do it MY WAY (cuz I do NOT want to trend-follow stuff like The Haunt or other popular roblox shi that I'm not really interested in- I ONLY want to be making content in stuff that I actually enjoy, otherwise the content's gonna be soulless and there just for getting numbers). and this video right here.. this is the first step. no matter the lack of inspiration, no matter the lack of positive feedback, no matter the chances against me.. imma make this work.
