Project Halle 7 - Scale Model Laubscher Präzision AG

The goal of this project was to build a scale model (1:100) of all factory buildings (1911-2017) of the company’s property. Its intended purpose is the representation and visualisation of the overall building situation, to explain the complex production, storage and recycling processes to customers and last but not least to reconstruct a major historical development. I spent roughly 350 hours over 7 weeks on completing this task. Thanks to a very high level of trust and confidence by all parties I enjoyed a broad scope in terms of creative implementation. For one thing it was deeply satisfying to benefit from nearly endless possibilities and limitless supply, then again I’ve never done anything like it before and it wasn’t until the very end of this project before I knew it will work out. Looking back, this meant more sleepless nights than I’d like to admit. There are still some bits and pieces which need to come together for the final model. Since I’m running out of time, it’s probable that someone else will complete the remaining details. On this occasion I’d like to thank all the people involved for the huge effort and support.
