SUBSCRIBE: / @itsnatzyskitchen1691 INSTAGRAM: / itsnatzyskitchen FACEBOOK: / itsnatzyskitchen-100716295013654 (makes 40-45 bite-sized churros) INGREDIENTS Churro Dough; 2 tbsp sugar 1 cup flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup water 2 tbsp butter/ oil 1 medium egg Cinnamon-Sugar Mix; 1/2 cup sugar 1 tbsp ground cinnamon PREPARATION Churro Dough; 1. Into a large hot water/ heat proof bowl, add sugar, flour, baking powder & salt. Whisk to combine. 2. Into a saucepan add water & butter. Keep over high heat & bring it to a rapid boil. 3. Once it starts to boil vigorously, remove from heat & pour it straight-away into the flour mixture. Beat with an electric mixer until the dough forms. 4. Add the egg to the dough and beat again until fully combined. 5. Divide the churro dough into three parts. Take one part of the dough & scoop it into a piping bag with a star tip. (nozzle) Cinnamon-Sugar Mix 1. Onto a baking tray, add sugar & ground cinnamon. Mix well. Making the Churros: 1. Dampen your fingers with water. (water should not be dripping) 2. Pipe the churro dough slowly & gently into the hot oil (over medium heat), pinch off the end of the churro with the damp fingers and deep fry all sides until golden. 3. Drain the fried churros on a paper towel for about 30 seconds. 4. After 30 secs, toss the churros in the Cinnamon-Sugar mix and coat well. 5. Serve warm. Enjoy!
