I cycled into camp on my trusty On One Bootzipper 29er, getting a good soaking in the process. I'm glad I decided to take the OneTigris Backwoods Bungalow with me on this trip, the tent performed well and the porch area gave me the cover I needed to sit and cook under. It rained most of the time and the shelter did not leak at all. Very pleased! For cooking I used my Folding Firebox titanium stove with a Trangia meths burner, thought this was a good idea as it meant I didn't have to gather wet wood and I could happily cook under the porch and not get smoked out:) Illumination was provided by my lovely Swiss Army candle lantern. These lanterns are not cheap but I don't know why but the light from this lantern seems to be brighter than from other candle lanterns I have. I love it!
