Off to a Great Start!

It is a week after lambing, and the lambs are doing very well. They are growing well and are starting to eat solid food, grain and some hay. We have all the lambs in family groups, and they have adjusted well. The two sets of triplets are sharing the same pen, and they continue to grow as well. We constructed a "creep" pen for the lambs where they can enter to eat grain and hay away from the ewes. It didn't take long for them to chow down. We also found the cause of the abortions/premature lambs and feel that it should be less of a problem as we go forward.
