I finally got a second woodturning bowl gouge! It's a huge 3/4" Sorby. In my excitement, I didn't realize that it was too big for my sharpening jig, so I had to try to hand sharpen for the first time. That had....mixed results. If you look closely you can see that some sections of the edge are really sharp and some are sharp as dough. Later I use my trusty 1/2" bowl gouge and you can REALLY see the difference.
