The installation was done using a custom ROM since Android 16 is not officially supported for this device. First, I unlocked the bootloader, then installed a custom recovery (TWRP), and finally flashed the Android 16 ROM built specifically for the Redmi Note 10 (mojito). After wiping system, data, cache, and Dalvik, I flashed the ROM and rebooted the device. The first boot took a few minutes, but the system started smoothly. Android 16 is now running properly with improved UI, smoother animations, better performance, and enhanced privacy features. All the basic functions like WiFi, calling, camera, and fingerprint are working fine. Overall, the installation process was successful, and the Redmi Note 10 is now upgraded to Android 16 using a custom ROM.
