A day trip to Lecce | Puglia region of Southern Italy 🇮🇹 | Aesthetic Italy Travel

We spent one day in Lecce and fell in love with this city. This city is charming with beautiful baroque Architecture in Puglia, South of Italy. The city is often referred to as the ‘Florence of the South' due to the incredible baroque architecture. During our walk around the city, we also found so many beautiful hidden corners. The Piazza Sant’Oronzo is the main square and focal point of the old town district. We run many narrow streets leading to the far corners of the old town tempting us to explore the city further. It is worth noting that international visitors to Lecce need to arrive at either Brindisi Airport or Bari Airport to reach Lecce....
