Today we are looking at the interior of the 2025 Toyota Sequoia. The interior of the Sequoia continues to showcase its rugged and durable theme. The seats are crafted from faux leather, adorned with camouflage trim, and proudly display red TRD Pro branding. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather and heated, providing a comfortable grip, while its large size ensures easy maneuvering. Although the gauge cluster is spacious, it lacks customization options. The materials used in the Sequoia offer a variety of textures. Soft touch and hard touch plastic are available, along with gloss black plastic. Toyota branding adorns the dash on the passenger side, adding a touch of elegance. Storage is a major advantage of the Sequoia. It boasts a spacious center console with multiple tiers, ample room for two large cupholders, a wireless phone charger, and a generous door pocket. The climate controls in the Sequoia are physical, with chunky knobs that are easy to operate even with gloves on. The infotainment system is powered by Toyota’s latest Audio Multimedia software, providing wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Additionally, the system supports glove use. The Sequoia’s backup camera offers exceptional resolution, providing a comprehensive Birds Eye view. Topping off the interior experience is the panoramic sunroof, allowing passengers to soak in the sun and enjoy a panoramic view of the surroundings. The second row of the Toyota Sequoia is not a bad place to be, but the larger competitors like the Chevrolet Tahoe or Jeep Wagoneer can offer more space. The seats have a camouflage design, and they are neither heated nor ventilated. They do not slide, but they recline quite a bit. There are seatback pockets on both sides, and there is a third zone of climate control. The TRD Pro model comes standard with captain’s chairs, with a maximum capacity of 7 passengers, but lower trims of the Sequoia can get a bench seat. The third row is not bad in terms of legroom, but the Chevrolet Tahoe and Ford Expedition can offer more. Because the hybrid battery is underneath the floor, thigh support for rear passengers is compromised. The second row does not slide, but the third row will slide 6 inches, so you get as little as 28 inches of legroom, or as much as 34. You also get a USB-C port on both sides, cup holders, and the class exclusive feature of sunshades. The cargo area in the Sequoia is limited due to the hybrid battery. The third row slides 6 inches to expand or reduce the cargo space from 11 cubic feet to 22 cubic feet. However, the third row doesn’t fold flat, so the second level of the shelf system matches the height of the third row. Behind the second row, you get 49 cubic feet of space, which is quite small compared to the segment but similar to the much smaller Highlander. The maximum cargo area in the Sequoia is 88 cubic feet, which is even worse than the Grand Highlander, a smaller sibling to the Sequoia. Thanks for watching!
