Hello guys, and welcome back to Car Obsession. A little earlier this year, I had a quick spin in the new Honda HR-V Sport, and here is what I thought of it. It's powered by a 1.5 litre VTEC turbo petrol, which produces 182hp along with 240Nm torque. This can either be mated to a 6-speed manual or a CVT, of which I have the latter fitted in the model tested in this video. 0-62 is dealt with in a respectable 7.8 seconds, and the top speed is 134mph. More concerned about fuel economy? If you go for the manual gearbox, you'll get combined MPG of up to 42.2, and if you go for the CVT, it falls to 38.2. In regard to emissions, the manual version emits 151g/km of CO2, whereas the CVT emits 163g/km.
