While this unit at the Grecotel Cape Sounio boutique hotel showed a few rough edges, it was still a beautiful stay in a beautiful place. We had a maintenance issue or two while we were there, but the staff were very attentive and tried to remedy the situations as quickly as possible. The lanai. The swinging chair, The pool. I could've just stayed there for the outdoor areas, cool in the heat of the October Greek sun. Did I mention swimming in the Aegean, in a place where Athenian warships used to moor? Where the Spartans attacked? And where about a million sunsets have happened since the Temple footstones were laid? Despite the heat of the season, it was a refreshing and beautiful place to stay in the middle of two other adventures.
