This video is designed for health care workers who require an introductory knowledge of the prevention of ARF and RHD and is the first video in the 'Prevention of Rheumatic Heart Disease' e-learning module. More information is available in the 2020 Australian guideline for prevention, diagnosis and management of acute rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease, 3rd edition, particularly the Primordial and Primary Prevention chapters. The learning objectives are to: identify the social determinants of health define primordial prevention of ARF and RHD describe best practice for primary prevention of acute rheumatic fever On completion of this learning program, you will be eligible for CPD.
