Thanks for understanding!!! 🏘️ Ohaře – village snapshot Ohaře is a small rural municipality in the Kolín District, Central Bohemian Region, about 11 km north-east of Kolín. First mentioned in 1397, the village covers 6.0 km² and had roughly 320 inhabitants as of 1 January 2024. It lies in gently rolling farmland and retains a quiet, authentic atmosphere. 🗺️ Points of interest Church of St John of Nepomuk – a large Late-Classicist church built 1846–48 on the site of a burnt-down Baroque chapel; the former cemetery still surrounds it, with a sandstone war-memorial cross from 1860. Mosaic-decorated houses – several façades covered with colourful glass mosaics, giving Ohaře a unique visual identity. 18th-century roadside Baroque cross on the road to Chlumec nad Cidlinou. Village green with traditional farmsteads from the 19th century, showcasing regional folk architecture. 🚐 Worth a stop nearby Kolín (11 km) – the Gothic Church of St Bartholomew, rebuilt by Petr Parléř; historic square and tower lookout.
