Exploring the Abandoned Sullivan Mine - Lots of Lumber!

In this video, we explore the main working level of the Sullivan Mine. This mine was a producer of lead and silver and it was worked into the mid 1900's. The mine was worked on a few levels, (several of which we explore) and ore was carted out of the mine via a long haulage adit 300ft below the adit we entered. We did not have time to visit the haulage adit, but it is said to be fairly boring. In the main level, we find lots of amazing timbering. The craftsmanship in this mine was truly spectacular.
