Incredible Talking KONE Glass Elevators, Royal Caribbean's Brilliance Of The Seas, Centrum Aft

Recorded October 24, 2025, Two years ago, we rode the elevators aboard Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas, a Radiance-class cruise ship. Now, we’re back on another member of the class — Brilliance of the Seas — and the elevators are just as stunning! In this video, we’ll ride the aft elevators — and this is where things get exciting. These are glass elevators featuring either views of the ocean or the ship’s beautiful Centrum atrium. We’ll start with one of the ocean-view elevators, which run from Deck 2 to Deck 13, and then take a ride in one of the atrium-view elevators, giving you the chance to experience both of these incredible perspectives. The atrium elevators run from Deck 2 to Deck 11 and are on the same controller as the ocean-view cars. Like the forward set, these are fast, smooth, and a lot of fun to ride. To my delight, they’re still rocking their original KONE M-Series fixtures from 2002! Join me for a joyride! Please note: this was recorded around 7:30 AM on a sea day, and the elevators were surprisingly busy — so there are a few moments where I needed to point the camera down. Still, you’ll get a great look at these beautiful elevators in action. Following our ride, we’ll walk down to my cabin and finish with our traditional room unlock.
