He’ll discuss the utility of a VPN and how you can use it to connect to your organization’s internal network. James will outline how to use SSTP to tunnel through the internet securely. A VPN allows telecommuters in your organization to connect to your internal network, giving them the same connectivity that they would have if they were seated at their local workstation. To establish a VPN connection, you have to tunnel through the internet, then the DMZ, and finally navigate your own internal network until you reach the desired destination (such as a file server). Although there are various security protocols you can use, SSTP is one of the best.
