We just arrived in Bali and knew we had a couple of options for transportation. Bluebird Taxi or GoJek/GoCar. We wanted to see how GoJek worked, and just like the Uber app, you let the drivers know where you want to go. The app gives you the price of the ride and you select accept... and BOOM, with in a few seconds we had a driver let us know he was on the way. We had to wait outside the gate of our hotel, because they did not accept GoJek/GoCar drivers onto the compound for pick up. For drop off no problem. We hopped into (I don't even know what kind of car he had), but some tricked out anime lookin car. It had every gadget imaginable installed on the interior. The music was loud, and the driver was quiet. 3.9km and 12 minutes we arrived at our destination. 22000 IDR / $1.59 USD If you're headed to Bali, GoJek is a great app that will get you places for an inexpensive rate.
