🔴 Watch the 100-Year Empire LIVE on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/gemorskos Welcome to Year 48 (1973) of our 100-year real-time journey! This hour was about laying the groundwork for a massive shift in how we move people and goods. I am officially moving away from simple point-to-point routes and building a more professional, interconnected network. In this episode: Growing the Passenger Network: I’ve officially added a fourth station to our new passenger and mail railway. This is just the beginning; my plan is to keep adding more and more towns to this dedicated electric line as the years go by. The "Transfer" Logic Shift: I am currently busy re-working my fleet orders. I’ve started setting up Transfer orders at my big stations, allowing local ships, buses, and trucks to drop off cargo and then leave empty. This ensures our major hubs handle the long-distance hauls while the local towns keep growing. Mainline Engineering: I performed some high-speed rail upgrades on the passenger/mail line to keep things smooth, including a new Tunnel Bypass to avoid slow-downs near the hubs. Urban Expansion: I’ve been building new roads to encourage the towns to expand toward our stations. I also added more Bus and Truck stops to the towns that are already showing growth to keep our Station Rating high. We are playing completely vanilla, with no mods and no fast-forwarding—where 1 hour of real-time equals exactly 1 in-game year. #OpenTTD #TransportTycoon #1973 #PassengerRail #Logistics #Simulation #NoFastForward #VanillaOpenTTD #CityGrowth #TunnelBypass #Gemorskos #100YearEmpire
