Justice Ajay Kumar Tripathi Foundation convened “Samvaad 2.0: संवाद 2.0”, A Trialogue on “Sustainable Development and The Idea of India Therein” with an illustrious panel comprised of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Abhay S. Oka, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, Hon'ble Mr. Justice Najmi Waziri, Former Judge, Delhi High Court, and Mr. K. Parameshwar, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India each expressing their views on the many facets of sustainable development. Ms. Shahrukh Alam, Advocate, Supreme Court of India, was an astute moderator. In Part 1 of Samvaad 2.0, the Panel discussed about environmental justice, class struggle, whether sustainability is an elite idea, citizen action, efficacy of PIL litigation, the role of judiciary, and the concept of "Dwell Well". Since its inception in November 2022 in New Delhi, the JAKT Foundation has hosted a series of conversations under the banner “The Idea of India”, exploring foundational questions about our constitutional identity, institutional roles, and democratic commitments.
