Hello Lurkers! Anime Fandom in America was very specific in the budding infancy of the Internet. While I'm not saying life as an #Otaku (or Oldtaku as I like to call myself) was harder back then, we had access to a few things (and lack there of to others) that made life as a late 90s #anime fan (and a young teenager) a very unique experience. For better or for worse, it was mine. This video is inspired by the wildly successful 2017 viral article on PopLurker of the same name: https://poplurker.com/2017/10/21/my-l... Hi Lurkers! I'm Loryn Stone, owner and founder of PopLurker.com. I have been an internet journalist for years and like to write about things I love, speculate about, or parts of our popular culture and society that kind of just drive me bonkers. Because together, we can lurk the internet and satiate all of our Garbage Person needs! We know our videos are lots of fun, but they are not for children and are aimed Lurkers ages 13+ for entertainment purposes. Please remember to subscribe for more pop culture ramblings and garbage person manifestos— and remember, at 100 subscribers I will dip my tongue in whipped cream for you.
