Before that, we give you a quick update on what’s been happening behind the scenes — we’ve now got the full custom exhaust system completed and the propshaft finished and fitted, meaning the car is ready to run and test under load. We arrive at Abbey on a scorching hot day, nervous but excited to finally see whether all these months of work are about to pay off. We begin by setting up the Turbosmart electronic wastegate, and then get the car run in on low boost before we push for any real power. Once everything is warm and dialled in, we start ramping it up. The result? 700 horsepower at just 1 bar of boost — smooth, clean, and exactly what we hoped for.
