Our safari was April 3 - 9, 2022. The first 3 days were spent in bush camp at Kennedy 2, while the latter 3 days were spent at lovely Camp Hwange. While April is not the ideal time for seeing animals due to the high grass and plentiful water coming out of the rainy season, we had great luck in seeing 30 different types of mammals (not all pictured) and even more species of birds. April is the best time of year for seeing baby animals, and we had great luck in this regard as well - in particular spending several hours hanging out with 2 adorable lion cubs.
